The Olympics are catalyst for change and development. The opportunities lie not just in the build up and in the short period of the Games themselves but also, probably more importantly, in the legacy for the years afterwards. The 2008 CLA Olympic Preparations seminar highlighted the opportunities, pitfalls and the technical requirements surrounding this global sporting and cultural event
The 2009 seminar will build on the lessons learned, review progress and encourage CLA members to capitalise on the commercial and cultural opportunities that will be generated. Dorset also has 13 LOCOG-nominated Training Camps and the seminar will discuss the opportunities likely to spring from those.

Description
Kingston Maurward House is a large Georgian English country house set in a 750 acre (3 square km) estate in Dorset two miles east of Dorchester. Much of the house is now used by Kingston Maurward College, though some of it is used for private functions. The grounds of Kingston Maurward, which are used for the land-based college, are open to the public and include the farm areas and extensive gardens.
